Priority is sorting

“Priorities” is a new word. Before the 1940s, it was priority. It’s about one thing. The first thing on the list.

When multiple first-things happen, things fight for our attention. The inability to decide the first action creates anxiety. Anxiety is the unfocused fear.

Priority is a number. It is sorting the first action to take.

In most to-do apps, limit to one red flag per burning stove at a time. Complete it before moving to the next.
